NW Democrats hail Senate rejection of USA Patriot Act

WASHINGTON -- Northwest Democrats hailed a Friday vote by the Senate that rejected a Republican plan to reauthorize major portions of the USA Patriot Act. The Democrats said the bill infringed too much on the privacy of American citizens.
